I was thrilled to see Liliyana Shadowlyn's review for A Wolf Stalks the Storm appear this weekend. To quote from the review:
It's official, I love Callisto! She's such an amazing FMC, smart, determined, and skilled at what she does. This was a continuation of her story, and I'm dying to read another installment! My heart absolutely broke for the things Callisto has witnessed and lived through . . . The story moves along at a good pace, and the descriptions are so vivid, you might as well be there, a fly on the wall, watching it unfold.
Looking forward to the "go-live" date for "A Wolf Stalks the Storm" on April 15th. I'm planning on releasing the third book in the new series later this year, with the prequel to follow in early 2025.
A Wolf Stalks the Storm, the second book in the Wolves of Stormfall series, is now in pre-order on Amazon. This story was previously released on Kindle Vella. Looking forward to seeing it on Kindle Unlimited and in paperback.
A wolf girl on the hunt. But what is it she's stalking? Could there be more to her life than anger and revenge?
It's been four years since she struck out on her own. No thief master to answer to. No schedule except her own. She's hunted down dozens of nobles, collected bounties on countless marks. Unleashing her anger on the society which stole her life and hunted her kin. But is it enough? Is there nothing more she wants?
Her latest contract sends her into the northlands of Bateria for the first time in a decade, forcing her to confront a family which abandoned her long ago. But what will she find? Is everything the way she remembers it? Or is there another path she might choose?
One way or another, the young assassin must confront her darkest fears, and find a new purpose to fill the emptiness in her soul.
In anticipation of the upcoming release of Book 2 from the Wolves of Stormfall, the first Book Trailer video has been assembled in advance of its eBook debut.
In an age of magic, in a realm where werewolves stalk the land, a lost girl awakens from a nightmare - and claims a legend as her own.
Callisto never saw herself as a hero in anyone’s tale, least of all her own. She never saw herself as a villain either. Just someone making the best of an impossible situation.
An indentured servant to a den-master of thieves, she has had to live by her wits and talents – all the while hiding the secrets of her past. Trained as a pickpocket and lockpick, she proves equally adept with a dagger. Fate, it seems, has never thrown her many favors. The few it has given her, she has learned to make the most from.
"An absolutely gripping story . . . The action is vivid, and the story will keep you turning pages wanting to know what happens next. I cannot recommend this enough." -Liliyana Shadowlyn
"Definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series." -S. Walker
"This was some kind of wild ride and I loved every minute of it. I cannot wait to read more from this author and more in this series." -Marcos Madera
Book 1 of the Wolves of Stormfall is available now as an eBook and in paperback. Book 2 is currently available under Kindle Vella, and should be released as an eBook in April 2024.
The final two episodes from the second book in the Wolves of Stormfall series was released on Kindle Vella on Thursday. In thirty days I'll be able to re-release this story as an eBook and in paperback.
The first ten episodes for A Wolf Stalks the Storm, Book 2 in the Wolves of Stormfall Series, have been released under Kindle Vella.

Her latest contract sends her into the northlands of Bateria for the first time in a decade, where she must face a family which abandoned her years ago. But what will she find? I've loaded the first round of episodes for Book 2 in the Wolves of Stormfall under Kindle Vella. The first ten episodes will be released together on Saturday January 20th. Additional episodes will follow, with one episode released per day during subsequent weeks. I've already loaded and scheduled episode releases through the end of January.
I've finally incorporated the edits from my beta-readers, completing the sixth and final draft for Book 2 of the Wolves of Stormfall. The text now totals 51,400 words in length, up from 47,400 words at the time of the fifth draft. I'll be starting to release the chapters in Kindle Vella this week!
I plan to release the first ten chapters together, and to follow with a chapter a day until it's all released. From there, it's a 30 day wait before I can release it in paperback and eBook. Finally. It feels like it's been a long time coming.
Book 2 bridges the gap between the first Wolves of Stormfall novel, and Callisto's appearance in Book 3 of the Stormfall Chronicles. Can't wait to have it released.
I've made it through another year, another trip around the sun.
The beta reader edits for the Second Wolves of Stormfall novel have taken longer than I had expected - as is so often the case for beta reading. In the meantime, I've completed my third edit for the Wolves of Stormfall Prequel, which is starting to feel more like a novel now. Still more work to do, but glad I could make progress while my beta readers were busy with the other text.
